Abstract

A találmány tárgya eljárás (I) képletű 5-metoxi-2-[(4-metoxi-3,5-dimetil-2-piridil)metil]szulfinil-1H-benzimidazol (omeprazol)előállítására. A találmány szerinti eljárást úgy végzik, hogy 5-metoxi-2-[(4-metoxi-3,5-dimetil-2-piridil)metil]tiobenzimidazolt 3-klór-peroxibenzoesavval reagáltatnak etil-acetátban -10 °C és 5 °Cközötti hőmérsékleten, majd a képződött vegyületet metilaminvizesoldatában feloldva sósav hozzáadásával kicsapva és a fenti vegyületettiszta formában elválasztva tisztítják.
