Abstract

The actuating device has a tilt button (4) which is mounted on a holder (3) and is connected to the valve body (8) of a discharge valve, via a two-armed lever (6), such that, when the tilt button (4) is pivoted, the valve body (8) can be lifted in order to open the discharge valve. The lever (6) is mounted in a frame (7), an engagement part of the lever (6) rolling, without sliding, on a rolling-contact curve (7b) of the frame (7) when the tilt button (4) is actuated. In this arrangement, the turning point of the lever (6) is displaced such that the comparatively large initial force reduction decreases continuously and the path reduction increases. As a result, the discharge valve can be opened by a small amount of force, with a relatively small button displacement. <IMAGE>
