A találmány tárgya töltött huzal adalékanyagok bevezetésére egy fémolvadékfürdőbe, amely töltött huzalnak (1) egy adalékanyagot (6) befogadó fémhüvelye (5) van.
A találmány lényege az, hogy a fémhüvely (5) egy káros maradványanyagok nélkül elégethető és a hő terjedését a töltött huzal (1) magja felé átmenetileg késleltető védőburokkal (7) van körülvéve.
A találmány egy továbbfejlesztett változata értelmében az elégethető burok felett az adalékanyagból (6), a fémhüvelyből (5) és az elégethető védőburokból (7) álló együttes egy fémanyagú védőköpeny (10) által van körülvéve.
