Abstract

Description

用于将添加剂导入熔融金属液的夹心线
本发明涉及一种用于将添加剂导入熔融金属液的夹心线。
钢、生铁等的材料的机械特性或其它特性尤其取决于材料的复合成分。
为了从基础成分获得一种具有某些特性的材料,要调节某些成分的含量,以获得理想成分。
二十年来,公知的是将一根预定长度的夹心线插入熔料中,以调节熔料的成分。
夹心线由内装要导入到熔融金属液中的添加剂的金属包层构成。
由于每米夹心线的添加剂的数量是已知的,因此,对液成分的调节较为简单。
在最初的夹心线上,金属包层只是将成型金属带的两个边缘并接而成。
内层进行预先布置,以封闭带边缘之间形成的通道。但是,在夹心线在线轴上进行卷绕操作然后在使用时的退绕方面,效果不好。
这种办法很快由一种不同的封闭方法加以取代。
这种方法就是对带的两个边缘进行机械搭接。
更准确地说,就是同时滚压两个边缘,使之彼此搭扣,从而避免损失内装的添加剂。
这种办法可以将一根夹心线插入熔料,对大部分的添加剂都非常适用。
但是,对于某些添加剂,例如钙、镁、硒、硫等,会出现一些问题。
实际上,对于这些添加剂中的某些添加剂,熔融金属液的热量使得位于非常靠近液表面区域的夹心线爆燃。
对于其它添加剂,它们在液表面附近非常迅速地汽化。
因此,在表面发生剧烈反应,使金属液氧化和/或再氮化,所产生的液态金属喷射物将损坏材料,而且会产生强烈的火焰喷射。
因此,采用这些添加剂,导入操作的效率很低,安全条件不适于工业应用。
为了解决这些问题,已知的是通过一种用耐高温材料制成的长喷嘴,将夹心线插入到液中。
这种喷嘴难以使用,而且价格昂贵。
本发明旨在克服上述缺陷。
根据新的方案,可用一种外壳覆盖金属套,该外壳可以燃烧而没有不利残留物,外壳暂时地延迟了热量向夹心线中心的扩散。
其有益效果是很大的。
可燃外壳呈螺旋状卷绕在金属套的周围。
但是,在操作时,也就是说,在线轴上卷绕时或者当卷绕在线轴上的夹心线退绕、以便插入到液中时,纸的外壳往往会受到损坏。
为此,本发明的主题是一种夹心线,它具有一个金属套,该金属套内装一种添加剂,所述套的特征在于,它覆盖有一种外壳,这种外壳可燃而无不利残留物,暂时地延迟热量向夹心线中心的扩散。

熔融金属液具有较高的温度,装在一个液池3中。
为了调节熔料液的成分,以预定速度将夹心线1导入到液中。
导入件4是通常的导入件,因此不再详述。
夹心线具有一层金属套5,该金属套内装一种添加剂6。
金属套5进行机械封闭,也就是说,套边缘例如通过滚压彼此连接。
金属套最好用外壳7加以覆盖,外壳可以燃烧而没有不利残留物,外壳暂时地延缓热量向夹心线中心的扩散。
所谓不利残留物,是指影响液成分的残留物或者在浇铸时产生改变所述液性能的杂质的残留物。
一种外壳例如可能适合于一种液成分,而不适合于另一种液成分。保护性外壳7最好由至少一层卷绕在金属套周围的纸层7A构成。
纸层7A采用的是一种用于烟火制造的纸。
这就是说,它具有耐燃性,其热阻系数大于普通纸张的热阻系数。这种热防护层是这样获得的:
-或者在纸成分中加入若干种延迟燃烧的组分,
-或者将纸层和用于使叠置纸带胶接的胶结合起来使用。
例如,已知的是质量有保证的无木非层化耐火纸M1。这种纸没有火焰扩散,没有燃烧沉淀物,没有火焰持续性。
这种外壳在燃烧时具有隔热特性。
使用一种纸进行的试验表明:
-没有纸层时,夹心线一秒钟爆燃,
-采用两层时,夹心线1.5秒钟爆燃,
-采用十层时,夹心线2.2秒钟爆燃。
这样,调节外壳的厚度和夹心线的插入速度,足以延迟爆燃或汽化,因此,易于将夹心线插入到足够的深度。
一层或若干层外壳最好是一层或若干层纸带螺旋卷绕层。
这些卷绕层例如进行交叉卷绕。
在一个实施例中,这些卷绕层的外部固定是用一层漆进行固定的,显然,这种漆不含水,也没有同构成液的材料进行剧烈反应的物质。
因此,尤其是当外壳由若干层纸带形成时,要加一层外壳固定层。
纸带的宽度最好适应于夹心线的直径和使用条件,例如为5至40厘米。
保护性外壳的厚度视使用者的需要(液的温度和待注入的材料)而定。
有利的是,如图4所示,尤其是在注入机械可能损坏可燃外壳的某些情况下,在所述可燃外壳7的上面,一层金属保护层10紧围着由添加剂、金属套和可燃外壳构成的组件。
因此,上述组件由一层金属保护层覆盖。
金属保护层10避免在操作夹心线时可燃外壳的损坏,另一方面,同装有添加剂的金属套和可燃外壳一起形成一种延迟组件熔融的复合材料。
这种金属保护层有利第由一种条带构成,其边缘进行搭接以形成一个管状件。
这涉及到通常用于形成内装添加剂的金属套的方法。
搭接方式11未示出。
所述方法使用起来最为简便,而且不会损坏可燃外壳。
有利的是,纸层不是采用卷绕的方式布置,而是使用很厚的纸,与金属保护层同时布置。厚纸的边缘相互重叠。

Claims (6)

1.一种夹心线,用于将添加剂导入熔融金属液,该夹心线具有一个金属套(5),该金属套包含一种添加剂(6),其特征在于,夹心线覆盖有一个可燃外壳(7),该外壳由至少一层卷绕在金属套周围的纸层(7A)构成,该纸层的外部固定通过施加一层漆进行,在可燃外壳的上面,一个金属保护层(10)包围着由添加剂、金属套和可燃外壳构成的组件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的夹心线,其特征在于,纸层采用一种用于烟火制造的纸。
3.根据权利要求1所述的夹心线,其特征在于,可燃外壳由一层或多层的纸带螺旋卷绕层构成。
