Description

This invention relates to all means of transport during night driving, which need to install blinds in the headlights at a certain angle in front of the light source so as to prevent the emission of glaring light into the eyes of drivers (and pedestrians) coming from the opposite direction. It will also allow the drivers themselves significantly better visibility because they will only use (be on) high beams at all times. We achieve this by directing the beam of light with blinds in the desired direction. Blinds should be constructed in such a way that they progressively increase the angle between the blinds so that the light passing through them covers the entire road in front of the vehicle up to the distance determined by traffic laws. At the same time, this allows us to set a more powerful light that will be emitted through the blinds.

In this way, visibility and safety are significantly increased, and at the same time driving at night is more pleasant.

Tehnički problem za čije se rješenje traži zaštita patentom A technical problem for the solution of which patent protection is requested

Smisao patenta je popraviti značajno te dvije stvari: When driving at night, the bright lights of vehicles from the opposite direction dazzle drivers and thus interfere with each other, and should not be used in that case. This also happens with dipped headlights due to the excessive power of some of them. On the other hand, when using dipped beam, visibility is insufficient, especially if driving at a higher speed. The purpose of the patent is to significantly improve these two things:

1. Smanjiti zasljepljujuće svjetlo na željenu mjeru 1. Reduce the blinding light to the desired level

2. Povećati vidljivost i preglednost kod noćne vožnje. 2. Increase visibility and transparency when driving at night.

Stanje tehnike State of the art

Do danas postoji nekvalitetno rješenje: To date, there is a low-quality solution:

• u obliku kratkih (slabijeg intenziteta) svjetala kod kojih je vidljivost ograničena na manju udaljenost, a koja također ometaju ugodnu vožnju noću posebno ako su snažnija i(ili) podignuta više od propisane mjere, te • in the form of short (weaker intensity) lights where visibility is limited to a shorter distance, and which also hinder pleasant driving at night, especially if they are more powerful and/or raised more than the prescribed measure, and

• high beams (high intensity) which illuminate a greater distance, but which shine so strongly that they disturb drivers (coming to meet them) from the opposite direction and must not be used in that case.

The existing solution (using high beams) only satisfies the driver when he is traveling alone at night and when no one is coming to meet him from the opposite direction (which happens very rarely). High beams can only be used under these conditions. However, in two-way traffic, high beams bother passing drivers and must be switched off and switched to dipped beams. This switching from one to the other is not a high-quality solution and hides a danger, especially on the highway where you drive 130 km/h and often much more. When the eye gets used to high lights and better visibility, switching to low lights suddenly reduces the road lighting, and the driver feels very uncomfortable because he has lost the visibility of a significant part of the road in front of him, plus the eye needs some time to adapt to this lower visibility, but even that it doesn't help much because you just can't see far enough. This is very dangerous because it automatically endangers the lives of people and all other traffic participants and material property.

Izlaganje biti izuma Presentation of the essence of the invention

Ciljevi izuma su: The objectives of the invention are:

• Poboljšati sigurnost u prometu noću svima. • Improve traffic safety at night for everyone.

• Significantly improve the lighting of the road by using continuous and only high beams, and the road will always be better lit.

• Smanjiti zasljepljivanje očiju vozačima iz suprotnog smjera • Reduce blinding of the eyes of drivers from the opposite direction

• To allow drivers to be able to look at the lights from the opposite direction so that it does not disturb their eyes.

• To protect people's eyes, who will be able to look at the headlights of oncoming vehicles without interference, because the light intensity of the headlights themselves, which drivers look at from the opposite direction, will be reduced to the desired level. This will be achieved by suitable construction of the blinds themselves, i.e. by this invention (position, angle, size, distance, color, shape and material composition).

• Simplify the handling of lights so that low beam lights will no longer be needed, but only one: long beam (which can be both positional and low beam at the same time). In this way, the necessary actions regarding the control of the lights during night driving will be reduced, because they will no longer need to be touched at all once they are turned on.

• Simplify the production of headlamp lamps so that lamps with two variants (with low and high beams) will no longer be produced. New vehicles that will use this invention when driving at night will have only one type of light, eg LED lighting, which will emit more powerful light, but which can cover all three requirements at the same time (positional, short and long).

• Reduce light pollution, because the light will be focused only on the road in front of and below the vehicle, and light scattering on all sides (up, left and right) will be reduced to a minimum by directing the light beam.

• Smanjiti oštećenja ljudskih očiju. • Reduce damage to human eyes.

• Smanjiti broj prometnih nesreća zbog slabe vidljivosti. • Reduce the number of traffic accidents due to poor visibility.

• Smanjiti broj prometnih nesreća zbog zasljepljenja ljudi i životinja. • Reduce the number of traffic accidents due to the blinding of people and animals.

• Smanjiti štetu u zdravstvu i privredi zbog gubitka i izostanaka ljudi s posla. • Reduce damage to health and the economy due to the loss and absence of people from work.

• Postići značajne materijalne uštede smanjivanjem prometnih nesreća noću zbog neadekvatnog noćnog osvjetljenja. • Achieve significant material savings by reducing traffic accidents at night due to inadequate night lighting.

• Postići značajne materijalne uštede eliminiranjem pozicijskih i kratkih svjetala, konstrukcijskim pojednostavljenjem fara, samih svjetiljki te upravljačkog sustava za svjetlila kod noćne vožnje. • Achieving significant material savings by eliminating position and low beam lights, by simplifying the design of headlights, the lamps themselves, and the control system for night driving lights.

Detaljan opis najmanje jednog od načina ostvarivanja izuma A detailed description of at least one way of realizing the invention

We will now turn to the details of the embodiment of the invention, an example of which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

Looking at the attached drawings (fig. 1 - fig. 4) and reading the description of the invention in this document, the meaning of the invention can be easily understood. The implementation itself can be done in several ways, but the principle presented in this document always remains the same.

Ugradnjom u farove 5 približno paralelnih žaluzina 4 ispred izvora svjetlosti 7 dobivamo usmjereni snop svjetlosti 3 u željenom smjeru. By installing approximately parallel blinds 4 in the headlights 5 in front of the light source 7, we get a directed beam of light 3 in the desired direction.

Intenzitet samog snopa svjetlosti 3 se postiže najvećim djelom reguliranjem snage izvora svjetlosti 7. The intensity of the light beam itself 3 is mostly achieved by regulating the power of the light source 7.

Depending on the construction of the headlight 5, the blinds 4 will be adjusted to fulfill their purpose. The very position of the blinds 4, the size of each and all together 4, and the angle 12 of the blinds in relation to the horizontal will be adjusted in order to regulate the output of the light beam, which is the key parameter by which we prevent direct viewing of the light source from the opposite direction and achieve excellent illumination of the road in front of the vehicle. Furthermore, the depth of the blinds 8 will be determined together with the angle of inclination 6 between the blinds themselves, which are mostly parallel and which progressively increases from 0° to -45°. In this way, we cover the road in front of the vehicle all the way to the extreme limits, which directly affects the angle 12 which regulates the intensity of the light that can be seen, i.e. enter the eye 11 of the driver from the opposite direction. Also, the thickness 14 and especially the distance 13 between the blinds is a basic parameter, along with the angle of inclination between the blinds 6 and the depth 8, which also achieves the desired goal. In this way, it is achieved that the highest level of strong lighting intensity 1 that is emitted directly does not reach the eyes of 11 drivers from the opposite direction. All the details can be seen in the attached drawings, and the angles of light exits 12 through the almost entirely parallel blinds 4 and the angle 2 at which it is viewed (outgoing beam of light) from the opposite direction, i.e. the very principle applied in this invention, are can best be seen in the detail in picture no. 4. The blinds 4 themselves can be made of different materials that absorb and reflect light, of different thicknesses 14 and colors so that light passes between them to the desired extent. The blinds 4 will be fixed by the frame 10 or they can be fixed in another way in the headlight 5, which can also be made of various materials, but which together can withstand the temperature of the headlight 5 and should meet all the other technical requirements that are given. The complete construction of the blinds 4 will be performed between the light source 7 and the outer glass 9 of the headlight 5. The blinds 4 should be performed in such a way as to adapt to the shape of the headlight 5 but in such a way as to achieve and respect the stated principle. In this request, only the basic principle is presented, which in itself is simple and understandable without implementation details (e.g. the method of connecting the blinds to the frame and connecting the frame to the headlight body or direct installation in the headlight) which depend on the manufacturer's decision and the state of the art that has been achieved up to today.
