Claims (16)
1. Uređaj za staničnu kulturu koji sadrži:
trodimenzionalno tijelo koje sadrži višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine koje se protežu prema unutra od periferije trodimenzionalnog tijela prema unutrašnjosti trodimenzionalnog tijela, pri čemu su višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine podešene tako da podržavaju jednoslojni rast eukariotskih stanica preko barem većeg dijela ili cijele površine višestrukih dvodimenzionalnih površina, i pri čemu trodimenzionalno tijelo ima:
(a) maksimalnu dimenziju u rasponu od oko 1 mm do oko 50 mm; ili
(b) omjer površine i obujma između oko 3 cm2/cm3 i oko 1.000 cm2/cm3.
2. Sustav stanične kulture, koji sadrži:
posudu; i
grupu trodimenzionalnih tijela, pri čemu svako trodimenzionalno tijelo sadrži:
višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine koje se protežu prema unutra od periferije trodimenzionalnog tijela prema unutrašnjosti svakog trodimenzionalnog tijela, pri čemu su višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine konfigurirane tako da podržavaju jednoslojni rast eukariotskih stanica preko barem većeg dijela ili cijele površine višestrukih dvodimenzionalnih površina, i pri čemu svako trodimenzionalno tijelo ima:
(a) maksimalnu dimenziju u rasponu od oko 1 mm do oko 50 mm; ili
(b) omjer površine i obujma između oko 3 cm2/cm3 i oko 1.000 cm2/cm3.
3. Uređaj prema patentnom zahtjevu 1 ili sustav prema patentnom zahtjevu 2, naznačen time da višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine:
(a) sadrže više rebara koja se protežu od unutrašnjosti trodimenzionalnog tijela prema periferiji trodimenzionalnog tijela;
(b) sadrže više rebara koja se uglavnom protežu paralelno jedno u odnosu na drugo od unutrašnjosti trodimenzionalnog tijela prema periferiji trodimenzionalnog tijela;
(c)
(i) imaju zakrivljeni oblik i/ili sadrže barem jedno spiralno rebro koje se proteže od unutrašnjosti trodimenzionalnog tijela prema periferiji trodimenzionalnog tijela; ili
(ii) su znatno ravne barem na jednom dijelu svoje površine; i/ili
(d) sadrže više rebara koja se protežu od središnje jezgre prema periferiji trodimenzionalnog tijela.
4. Uređaj prema patentnim zahtjevima 1 ili 3 ili sustav prema patentnim zahtjevima 2 ili 3, naznačeni time da trodimenzionalno tijelo sadrži barem jedan uglavnom sferni oblik, jedan uglavnom elipsoidni oblik i jedan nepravilni poliedarski oblik.
5. Uređaj prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-4 ili sustav prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 2-4, naznačeni time da materijal koji oblikuje višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine sadrži materijal odabran od barem jednog od metala, stakla, borosilikata, karbonskih vlakana, keramike, kolagena, želatine, hidrogelova i polimera.
6. Uređaj prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-5 ili sustav prema bilo kojem od patentnom zahtjevu 2-5, naznačeni time da materijal koji oblikuje višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine sadrži barem jedan polimer, opcionalno pri čemu je polimer:
(a) odabran od poliamida, polikarbonata, polisulfona, poliestera, poliacetala, i polivinil klorida;
(b) poliamida, ili
(c) polikarbonata.
7. Uređaj prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-6 ili sustav prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 2-6, naznačeni time da višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine nadalje sadrže barem jedan premaz odabran da omogući prihvat i rast eukariotskih stanica, opcionalno pri čemu je barem jedan premaz odabran od proteina i polilizina.
8. Uređaj prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-7 ili sustav prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 2-7, naznačeni time da su višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine bile podvrgnute tretiranju površine plazmom.
9. Uređaj prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-8 ili sustav prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 2-8, naznačeni time da višestruke dvodimenzionalne površine sadrže modul i zavoje odabrane da omoguće rast eukariotskih stanica.
10. Uređaj prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-9 ili sustav prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 2-9, naznačeni time da eukariotske stanice sadrže barem jedne matične stanice, stanice ovisne o učvršćivanju, mezenhimske stanice i stromalne stanice.
11. Uređaj prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-10 ili sustav prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 2-10, naznačeni time da je omjer površine višestrukih dvodimenzionalnih površina i obujma trodimenzionalnog tijela između oko 3 cm2/cm3 i oko 1.000 cm2/cm3, opcionalno pri čemu je omjer površine višestrukih dvodimenzionalnih površina i obujma trodimenzionalnog tijela između oko 10 cm2/cm3 i oko 15 cm2/cm3.
12. Sustav prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 2-11, naznačen time da trodimenzionalno tijelo ima maksimalnu dimenziju između 1 mm i 20 mm.
13. Uređaj prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-11 ili sustav prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 2-12, naznačeni time da trodimenzionalno tijelo ima maksimalnu dimenziju između 2 mm i 10 mm, opcionalno pri čemu je uređaj uglavnom sfernog oblika, a maksimalna dimenzija je promjer.
14. Metoda uzgoja stanica, koja sadrži:
odabir grupe eukariotskih stanica; stupanje u kontakt eukariotskih stanica s barem jednim trodimenzionalnim tijelom kako je definirano prema bilo kojem patentnom zahtjevu 1, 3-11 i 13.
15. Metoda prema patentnom zahtjevu 14, naznačena time da stupanje u kontakt eukariotskih stanica s barem jednim trodimenzionalnim tijelom sadrži:
(a) stavljanje stanica i barem jednom trodimenzionalnog tijela u posudu;
(b) nadalje sadrži dodavanje medija za rast stanicama; i/ili
(c) nadalje sadrži izazivanje pokretanja barem jednog trodimenzionalnog tijela, opcionalno pri čemu izazivanje pokretanja sadrži:
(i) rotiranje ili tresenje posude u kojoj je sadržano barem jedno trodimenzionalno tijelo; ili
(ii) omogućavanje protoka medija u posudu u kojoj je sadržano barem jedno trodimenzionalno tijelo.
16. Metoda prema patentnom zahtjevu 14, naznačena time da je barem jedno trodimenzionalno tijelo uronjeno u medij za rast unutar odgovarajuće posude koja je konfigurirana tako da je otporna na staničnu adheziju.
