Abstract

The method involves monitoring operation of a heating device (11) such that the heating device is deactivated by a control device (14) of a safety device by deviation of the operation from operation defaults. Room temperature of a sauna cabin (10) is detected by a temperature detection element (13) i.e. bimetallic switch, during heating for controlling the control device. The control device is provided to signalize a warning signal during malfunctioning of the control device. Temperature target specification is determined by an initial operation of the heating device. An independent claim is also included for a safety device for executing a safety-related method for operating a heating device.

Claims (8)
