Abstract

Κατά την μέθοδον δια την ελάττωσιν των διαλελυμένων ανοργάνων και οργανικών ενώσεων εις υδατικά διαλύματα κατά την μέθοδον-BAYER δια την παρασκευήν υδροξειδίου του αλουμινίου, χρησιμοποιούνται προσθήκαι αι οποίαι είναι αναγκαίαι εις τας δαπανηράς διεξαγωγάς της μεθόδου και μια ηυξημένη κατανάλωσιν αλκαλικού διαλύματος, πράγμα που αναβιβάζει το κόστος παραγωγής και δεν εξασφαλίζει εις εκάστην περίπτωσιν καλήν ποιότητα του προϊόντος.Τα μειονεκτήματα αυτά είναι δυνατόν να παρεμποδισθούν όταν υποβάλλωμεν το ακάθαρτον αλκαλικό διάλυμα Ρν εις μίαν ηλεκτροδιαπύδισιν υπό χρησιμοποίησιν τουλάχιστον μιας ανιοντο-και/ή τουλάχιστον μιας κατιοντο-διαπερατής και εκλεκτικής μεμβράνης και τουλάχιστον μιας διπολικής μεμβράνης, η οποία ημπορεί να προκαλεί διάστασιν εις το ύδωρ υπό σχηματισμόν μιας συνιστώσης αλκαλικού καυστικού διαλύματος Ρr η οποία προστίθεται εις το αλκαλικόν διάλυμα του κυκλώματος της μεθόδου -BAYER και μιας συνιστώσης ακαθαρσιών V, η οποία απομακρύνεται από την μέθοδο και απορρίπτεται.ω
