Abstract

Novelty: a detachable folding headboard practicable for spare beds is disclosed. Constitution: the articulations 4 may be accordingly selected in order to respond to the needs of the construction and could be of the simple rotary two-position hinge-type articulations or articulations of the jointed multi-position ratchet-type, both types being in position to set the headboard in the horizontal closed position 2 and vertical opened position 3 at the user’s convenience. The framework 5 of the bed may be made of metal, wood, plastics or combination thereof while its internal surface 6 may have openings or be unified, planar or curved in shape; foamy materials and fabrics can also be utilized. Embodiment: the invented headboard is manufactured in different dimensions for being adapted to whatever steady or spare bed.
