Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-skid system for wheels of any car especially for wheels of passenger cars. This system is composed of polyurethane shoes 5,6 retained by a spring 9 holding the anti-skid system around the wheel under tension. The shoes have ribs-guides 7 enabling their placement into the grooves of the tyres. Advantages: due to reduced shocks, improved adhesion on the ground and efficient braking, the motion of the car onto snow or iced surfaces is enhanced; same system may be practicable for any size of passenger car tyres.
