The diaphragm 8 of a pressure regulating valve has a depending portion 7 through which extends the stem 6 of the moving closure member 5, a piston part 5 of which is supported in a sleeve 9 pivoted on a pin 10 between shoulders 11 in the valve casing. The pin 10 is held in place by a plug 14 accessible from the exterior of the casing; a dust-excluding packing is interposed between the plug and pin.
