A cable suitable for the wiring of aircraft comprises a flexible tinned copper conductor with insulation consisting of an inner layer of chlorosulphonated polyethylene, an outer covering of a composite braid of closely intermixed yarns of nylon or a terephthalate polyester and glass, and a nylon lacquer applied overall.
