Abstract

998,002. Machine tool details. A.E.R. ARNOT. June 26, 1961 [June 25, 1960], No. 11639/65. Divided out of 998,001. Headings B3C and B3N. A portable drive transmission device for rotary tools comprises a gear case 1, which carries a rotary tool driving member 3, a vice 28 mounted on the case, drive input shafts 8, 18, each having means for connecting the shaft to a portable motor, and means for coupling the different input shafts to the tool driving member through torque increasing means of different ratios, the arrangement being such that the output shaft of the motor lies at right angles to the axis of the tool driving member irrespective of the torque increasing ratio employed. The description is the same as that disclosed in Specification 998,001.
