The disc clutch of the parent Specification is modified in respect of the ratchet-screw member between the transmission shaft and pressure plate brake, the teeth on the shaft sleeve 16 having cut-out portions forming axial projections 20, while the teeth on the complementary sleeve 17 have short axial projections 22.
