Abstract

1357272 Friction clutches DAIKIN SEISAKUSHO KK 2 Oct 1972 [1 Oct 1971] 45323/72 Heading F2C In a friction clutch wherein a diaphragm spring 2 is fulcummed between split rings 6, 7 encircling studs 5 riveted to a clutch cover 4, the ring 6 between the diaphragm spring 2 and clutch cover 4 engages a groove 4b in the cover. The groove 4b has a discontinuity (4e) which prevents rotation of the ring 6 relative to the cover 4. Rotation of the other ring 7 is prevented by axially extending projections 7a on the end of the ring engaging with recesses 2c in the diaphragm spring.
