Abstract

994,972. Rollerway construction. A. KORNYLAK. June 23, 1961, No. 22864/61. Heading B8A. A rail 10 is formed by bending sheet metal into the shape shown, the sheet metal having holes 48 to accommodate the axles 50 of rollers 46. Two such rails 10 spaced apart form a rollerway conveyer, the elevated portions 22 serving to guide the articles as they are conveyed over the rollers 46. The rail 10 is carried by adjustable brackets 36 supported on frame 34. Bearing 56, Fig. 5.-The shaft 50 is formed with groove 54 so that polyethylene bearing sleeve 56 may be slid over the axle till rib 68 of the sleeve engages in the groove 54. The sleeve 56 carries a roller 46 which is kept thereon by the collar 64 of the sleeve.
