Abstract
992,253. Transistor oscillator circuits; electromechanical filters. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. Sept. 27, 1961 [Sept. 27, 1960], No. 34653/61. Headings H3T and H3U. An electromagnetic oscillator, forming part of an electronic audio-frequency generator, comprises a resonator 1 of magnetic material lying within the gap of a core 2a forming part of a driving circuit and within the gap between a pair of cores 3c, 3d associated with pick-up coils 3a, 3b. The cores 3c, 3d are made of iron and are connected to the same permanent magnet 4 as the resonator 1 in such a manner that they form a magnetic shunt path and effect a decrease in the reluctance of the permanent flux path. This improves the sensitivity of the arrangement. The amplitude of oscillation may be adjusted by varying the distance between cores 3c, 3d or by adjustment of air dampers 5. The output coils are connected in series to the input terminals of a two-stage transistor amplifier. Both stages are provided with voltage feedback and the first stage with electromechanical feedback. The voltage fed back to the driving coil 2 is limited by the rectifiers G1, G2.
