Abstract
992,218. Refrigerators. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-G.m.b.H. April 22. 1964 [April 22, 1963], No. 16681/64. Heading F4H. A pivoted flap 2 mounted at the rear of a drip tray 1 serves to control the flow of air from a freezer compartment above the tray to a storage compartment beneath the tray, the position of the flap being adjustable by means of a lever 3 which is pivoted at 4 to the underside of the tray. A pin 6 formed integrally with the flap 2 is received in an inclined slot 5 in the rear end of the lever 3, one wall of the slot being inclined at 14 to prevent the pin from jamming when in its inclined position. The lever is spaced from the underside of the tray by projections 11, 12 and 13 formed in the tray and movement of the front end lever is limited by a slot and pin arrangement 7, 8. The front end of the lever has a flange 9 which is provided with a scale to give a visual indication of the position of flap 2.
