[Also in Divisions F2] A sinuous steel wire spring for use in seats, mattresses &c. includes a central portion 1 which in the relaxed condition of the spring has a radius of curvature which is less than the radius of curvature of the ends 2 and 3 of the spring so that, when the spring is opened out and connected at the ends 2, 3 between frame members, sagging of the central part of the mattress &c. is mitigated by the upwardly convex central portion 1.
