Abstract

991,091. Convertible chair-beds. CARROSSERIE TORSA, SCHALLBETTER & CIE S.A. Sept. 10, 1963 [Sept. 12, 1962], No. 35598/63. Headings A4J and A4W. [Also in Division B7] In a catamaran vessel having two floats (see Division B7), each float has a seat 13. Each seat is formed by two floatable glass fibre boxes 14, 15, the box 14 having a recess 16 into which box 15 is fitted. The base 17 of box 14 and the rear face 18 of box 15 are both flat so that when the boxes are placed end to end in the floats with surfaces 17, 18 turned upwards they form a flat surface on which mattresses may be laid to form bunks.
