990,294. Collectors. ETABLISSEMENTS TOURTELLIER S.A.R.L. Feb. 9, 1962 [Feb. 11, 1961], No. 5036/62. Heading H2E. A compact electric conductor system with trolley collectors comprises an open casing 1 serving both to house conductors 4, 5 and as a covered track for collector trolleys 3, in which casing 1 there are conductors 4 arranged in a horizontal plane and others 5 disposed in vertical planes at the sides which are swept by contacts mounted on levers 10 under the pressure of springs 12, the levers 10 being mounted on trolleys 3. The conductors 4, 5 are held in claws 8 supported in insulators 6 fixed by bolts 7 to the top of casing 1 and the trolleys 3 have wheels 2. In a modification, Fig. 4 (not shown), the contacts on the levers consist of copper rollers surrounding selflubricating sleeves and on the outside of the levers are supplementary guiding rollers of insulating material.
