989,394. Transistor oscillator circuits; tuned coupling networks. MARCONI CO. Ltd. Nov. 5, 1963 [Jan. 22, 1963], No. 2658/63. Headings H3T and H3U. [Also in Division H1] In a transistor oscillator of the type comprising a regenerative feedback transformer having a tuned tertiary winding 2, direct coupling between the primary and secondary windings is cancelled by an additional winding. This may be connected to the primary winding but, as shown, is connected in series with the secondary in the reverse sense so that the net direct-coupling between primary and secondary circuits is zero or in negative sense. Suitable constructional arrangements of the transformer using air or tubular ferromagnetic cores are illustrated (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown).
