A device for displaying carpets has a tubular upright 10 with a horizontal arm 11 of flat section and bracing strut 12, each face of arm 11 having mounted thereon a pair of inwardly facing clips 13, each clip having a flat limb and a corrugated limb, the carpet being engaged by the clips at its upper edge and being prevented from sliding through by a bound edge.
