Abstract

1,056,251. Shelving. L. MASLOW. March 2, 1964 [May 3, 1963], No. 8661/64. Heading A4B. [Also in Division E2] A shelving assembly comprises a grid shelf 12 releasably mounted between vertical end frames 14, a further grid shelf 12A releasably secured at one end to the first shelf 12 and perpendicularly thereto, and a further vertical frame 14 supporting the other end of the further shelf 12A. The releasable securing means comprises a U-shaped clip 46 engaged around the end 41 of the further shelf 12A and a screw 48 which threadedly engages one clip arm 62 to draw together the clips arms 52, 62 so that their arcuate ends 56, 58 clamp around vertically spaced rods 39 forming a side of the first shelf 12. The shelf 12 is notched, as at 26, at its ends to engage the inner faces of vertical rods 32, 33 of the ends frames 14, loops 18 in the shelf bearer portions 34 of the end frame providing a resilient engagement between the notches 26 and vertical rods 32, 33. Adjustable feet 70 are provided.
