A consumer's electrical control panel comprises a hollow casing 1, a door 3, a time switch 24 having time setting and indicating means accessible through an aperture 31 in the door, a plurality of circuit fuses such as F5, F6, within the casing, and changeover switches S1, S2, R1-R5, for selectively coupling each of the fuses with an incoming supply through the time switch and with the supply by-passing the time switch. These switches are accessible through an aperture 32 in the door. Additional circuit fuses such as F1, F10, are provided for permanent connection to the supply. Switches R1-R5 are rotary switches with a central zero position. An indicator light 25, a door-operated switch 26 and a fuse 27 are connected directly across the supply. Switches S1, S2, R1-R5 are connected on one side directly to a mains busbar and thence to a mains switch 29, and on the other side via a contactor and a circuitbreaker 30 to the switch 29. The coil of the contactor is connected through the contacts of the time switch across the supply, and the clock motor of the time switch is also connected across the supply (Fig. 3, not shown). Outgoing conduit connections pass through knock-outs 10 in the casing walls. An electricity motor may be mounted on a meter board 9 within the casing.
