Abstract

988, 638. Cleaning textile machines. E. JACOBI, and H. BECK, [trading as ERNST JACOBI & CO. KOMM.-GES.]. A travelling pneumatic dust and fly removal apparatus-especially for ring spinning machineshas a combined suction and blowing device 11 at each side of a machine to provide at least two spaced currents of air p, q, passing in opposite directions one relative to one another. The currents p, q may be horizontal or inclined thereto, to be at the same or different levels, and be parallel or set at an angle to one another. There may be a single fan in each device 11, or alternatively the two devices may share a fan. The air currents may be reversible in direction. Nozzles 11a, 11b may be adjustable in angle. Specification 877,258 is referred to.
