A device for moulding dentures from plastics materials, e.g. methacrylates, comprises parts 1 and 2 clamped together by bolts 4 to form a vessel having a mould cavity 5 and injection channel 10. The contact surfaces of parts 1 and 2 are sealed by sealing material 3. Injection channel 10 is eccentrically arranged to feeding channel 6 and a check valve consisting of housing 7, ball 8 and valve seat is placed between channels 6 and 10 such that, when the pressure in the cavity 5 and channel 10 exceeds the pressure in channel 6, the valve closes. In use, the plastics material is forced by piston 11 from channel 6 via channel 10, after which the feeding channel is removed from valve housing 7 and the vessel 1, 2 and check valve are placed in a polymerization device to harden the plastics material.
