Abstract

986,033. High voltage switches. MAGRINI S.p.A. March 4, 1963 [March 2, 1962], No. 8459/63. Heading H2B. A switch has a base 3, two levers 6, 7 pivoted thereto and an arm 8 pivoted to the free ends of the levers 6, 7 and carrying the moving contact assembly 10. The assembly 10 consists of resilient members 11, guides 12 and a rotatable clamping member 10<SP>1</SP> which is rotated automatically by a rod 22 to grip the fixed contact 24 as the arm 8 moves into the closed position. In a modification both the contacts are mounted on linkages (Figs. 5, 6, not shown).
