983,621. Pipe connections; supporting pipes. ASSOCIATED BUILDERS MERCHANTS Ltd. April 21, 1961 [April 21, 1960], No. 14053/60. Headings F2G and F2P. [Also in Divisions A4 and E2] A bracket for securing a pipe to a supporting surface is made of synthetic plastics material and comprises a collar part 8 having outwardlyextending ears 9, 10 and flanges 12, 13. The bracket is adapted to accommodate part of a pipe socket component 6 used for connecting pipes 2, 3 and having a part 5 of larger diameter. Preferably the pipes and socket component are of synthetic plastics material. The pipes may be secured in the component 6 by adhesive. The enlarged diameter part 5 may be formed on the ends of bends, Y-pieces or " shoes ".
