979,024. Capacitors. DUBILIER CONDENSER CO. (1925) Ltd. Oct. 15, 1963 [Oct. 15, 1962], No. 38856/62. Drawings to Specification. Heading H1M. An electrolytic capacitor of the roll type having e.g. aluminium or tantalum foil anodes which may be of the kind described in Specification 891,327, incorporates as a hydrogen absorbent a small quantity of an organic compound having one or more oxime groups, e.g. quinone dioxime, which may be dissolved in the electrolyte, incorporated in the porous separator, or mixed with the adhesive fixing the separator to the foils, for absorbing hydrogen gas evolved in the capacitor. The latter may be placed in a metal container closed by spinning the edge over an insulating disc having a central rivet and tag connected to one electrode and the container connected to the other.
