A flexible and collapsible container 10 for handling finely divided material has a readily detachable connection 14 to a fluidizing discharge unit comprising a porous screen 15 to air chamber 16 through which a discharge outlet 18 extends. A sleeve valve 3 closes the reduced diameter outlet 12 of the container when removed from the fluidizing units. The container may be made of rubber or synthetic rubber reinforced with fabric, cords &c. Specification 958,699 is referred to.
