Abstract
978,783. Controlled non-linear inductors. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. July 10, 1961 [July 8, 1960], No. 24941/61. Heading H3B. An amplifier comprises a transfluxor core having major and minor apertures, which is set to a remanent state by an input pulse in winding N1 and passes a proportional pulse output to a load Ra when unidirectional pulses are applied alternately to coils N4, N5, each coil producing a flux in its associated core limb which opposes the flux about the main aperture. As shown in Fig. 2, the coils N4, N5 are alternately energized from a source J providing two groups of pulses. In a modification, Fig. 4, the pulse source and the load circuit are separated by the provision of further coils each coupled to a coil N4, N5 by the associated core limb. Rectifiers D1-D4 are provided in the embodiments to prevent the load from being by-passed.
