Abstract

Means for transversely moving the axis of a fulcrum roller 16 under a springboard 10 comprises chains and cables 22, 23 which are anchored to yokes on stub shafts 11 on the said roller 16 and pass over idler pulleys 17, 18 to a drum 19 over which they are wound and secured thereto. The said drum 19 is rotatable through chain reduction gearing 25 by a hand wheel 28. The fulcrum roller 16 is supported by bearers 13 and rolls thereon by means of sleeves 15 on the stub shafts 11.
