Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the general formula <FORM:0976216/C1/1> in which Z is S, SO or SO2 and the preparation thereof by catalytically reducing a nitrophenylsulphur pentafluoride to the amino compound, acetylating this, condensing the acetamide with bromobenzene to give the pentafluorosulphurdiphenylamine and heating this with sulphur in the presence of iodine as a catalyst and, if desired, oxidizing the product, in which Z=S, to obtain a product in which Z=SO or SO2.
