975,866. Moulding dough. T. E. BELSHAW. March 18, 1963, No. 10533/63. Heading B5A. A machine for making dough rings comprises a hopper assembly 20 having a cylindrical extension 22, a removable sleeve 27 tapered externally at its upper end 27a mounted within the extension, a removable locking pin 25 passing transversely through the extension into the sleeve, and means, e.g. a spring-ring 24, gripping the extension the ends of said means being anchored to the head of the pin whereby the pin can be withdrawn from the sleeve without being withdrawn from the extension. The pin 25 is rounded at its inner end which seats against the face of a chordal slot 26 in the sleeve. A flange 25a limits the degree of inward movement of the pin. The spring ring 24 fits into a groove extending around the periphery of the extension 22, the ends of the ring being looped through the knurled head of the pin. A plunger 32 and a forming ring 31 are movable within a bushing 29 inside the sleeve 27 by means of rods 33, 34, 35 operated by cams and levers 48, 49.
