Abstract

975,104. Identifying and recording cards. TICKOPRES Ltd. Feb. 9, 1961 [Feb. 9, 1960], No. 4582/60. Heading B8F. An identifying and recording card for statistical use in industry comprises a main body part 13 having each longitudinal edge portion treated with silicone or secured adhesively to a strip of silicone impregnated paper 18 and a plurality of separate self-adhesive labels 20 attached by their self-adhesive surfaces to the silicone treated areas, the labels being provided with different identifying markings 22 and/or colours relating to different operational or process steps in the production to be recorded. The cards are formed on a web and are separated by perforations 12, each card being formed with perforations 14 for separating the card into two portions 15, 16, one portion 16 being formed with a punched hole 17 for receiving a cord or string for attachment to an article. The card web is also provided with feed perforations 24. A part of each side of each label is left non- adhesive to facilitate removal of the label. The card is used in combination with a register card 25, Fig. 4 (not shown), labels 20 being removed from the recording card and attached to the register card.
