Abstract

1372615 Labels NORPRINT Ltd 10 May 1973 [12 May 1972] 22318/72 Heading B8F A label 2 is provided with two parallel lines of perforations 12 and lead-in notches 20 defining end portions 16, which are coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a central portion 14 whereby the central portion may be separated from the label portions 16 securing the label to an item when the latter is sold to facilitate the current stock situation of the particular item to be assessed. A plurality of the labels are carried on a silicone-coated backing strip 4, which is provided with lines of perforations 8 and 10 and with lines of apertures 6 for engagement by mechanical feed means of a computerized labelling/stock-taking system. An aperture 18 is formed in the label central portion for registration purposes and/or to enable that portion, once detached, to be used as a tag.
