Abstract

1,111,418. Identity tags for animals. KENELLEN (N.Z.) Ltd. 31 May, 1966 [25 Oct., 1965], No. 45073/65. Heading B8F. [Also in Division E2] Flutes of corrugations 8, Fig. 3, on the underface of a loop or bridge 6 towards one end of a bracelet for attachment to an animal co-operate with complementary flutes or corrugations 4 on a tongue 1 to hold the bracelet secured. Projections 5 may assist in gripping the end of the bracelet which may be of low density polyethylene. A labelling portion 3 of the bracelet may take the form of a transparent covering piece bonded at its side edges to the panel 3 but unattached at its ends: shallow transverse shoulders near the free ends of the transparent covering piece may prevent an inserted card from falling out. Alternatively the panel 3 may receive an adhesive label or identifying matter can be moulded in the face of the panel.
