Abstract

A plastic nylon nut security seal that wraps around a nut and seals with a plastic tie that would have to be broken if the nut was to be removed or tampered with. The nut security seal would have a hinge to allow the seal to be made in one mould and to prevent dismantling and reassembling of the nut. The nut security seal would be made in any size to fit any nut that would be in need of such a device. <IMAGE>

NUT SECURITY S3AT.
This is a device to prevent the tampering with or access to a secured nut It can be formulated from certain types of plastics, nylons and metals and is secured by a non-reuseable tamper proof seal, the seal is constructed in such a waythat if would be obvious if it nad been broken.
The Nut Security Seal can be made in any size larre or smalland can accomadate nuts in aw'. < ward areas. The seal can also bare the name or logo of tne company in questions , and the colours or colours would be suited to each individual case We feel that tha benifits of this device apart from the security side is that it can be very econimicaly produced and can be fitted in seconds with the greatest of ease.
The device is spicific ly designed for the security ot nuts,as an example, for use on gas meters to prevent : A the tamperin with explosive gasses by unortharised personeli B The theft of ky gas through the bypassing or reverseing the meter.

Claims (10)

CLATMS
1. A nut security seal for nuts that are at risk of being unwantantly tampered with.
2. A nut security seal having a circular shaped body
3. A nut security seal having a body that covers fully the nut it is protecting.
4. A nut security seal having a bore extending through said body.
5. A nut security seal having a hinge at one side of said body.
6. A nut security seal whose cicular body has a split to allow opening.
7. A nut security seal which is effectively two semi circular bodiss joined by a hinge.
8. A niit security seal whose size is determined by the nntit is protecting.
9. A nut security seal which has a locking seal on one half of the split body and a locking receptical on the other.
10.A nut security seal that is locked upon closing around nut.
11 .A nut security seal that has a recess within said body that extends through the whole of the inside of the body that allows the nut to sit inside said body when said body is closed.
