Abstract

973,750. Flexible hoses. POLYMER CORPORATION. Aug. 16, 1961 [Aug. 23, 1960], No. 29649/61. Heading F2P. A hose including static charge eliminator means comprises an inner, tubular, highpressure hose member 21 of nylon and at least one corrugated, static eliminator wire 10 supported by the hose member and extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the hose, and an outer, tubular reinforcement, braid 22 covering the wire and reinforcing the inner tube. The member 21 may be extruded, and the braid 22 of high-tensile nylon yarn. The wires 10 may be of copper and solid, or braided interwoven or stranded filaments.
