1431349 Pipe bundle KABELUND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE AG 5 Dec 1973 [8 Dec 1972 3 Feb 1973] 56423/73 Heading F2P [Also in Divisions H1 and D1] An electric cable, pipe bundle cable, or other cord-like material comprises a braid 23, 27 composed of high tensile filaments running in the axial direction and transversely or obliquely thereto, at least the axial filaments being elastically extensible to at least an elongation of 8 to 15%, wherein the braid is situated under a layer of thermoplastic material. Thus, as shown, the board may be located between two layers 25, 26 of thermoplastic or elastomeric sheathing material and/or around, within, or under the insulation 24 of the individual cores 22. The braid may be composed of steel or nylon filaments or a combination of these. Each filament may comprise metal or synthetic resin components stranded or knitted together and the individual components may be corrugated to increase extensibility
