Abstract

973,496. Compressor rotors. GASTURBINENBAU UND ENERGIEMASCHINENENTWICKLUNG PIRNA VEB. April 6, 1961, No. 12307/61. Heading F1T. A rotor for a multistage axial flow compressor comprises two or more ring-shaped members 3, 4, which are each provided with at least two radial discs 11, 12, the discs extending into the interior of the rotor. The discs are so located that a flange 13 at one end of the ring member 3 bears against a disc 11 on the adjacent member 4 and the discs are equidistantly spaced. The ring members 3, 4 are connected together by bolts 14 without recourse to locating flanges and the rotor blades 17 are secured to the discs 11, 12 by bolts 18. Labyrinth grooves 22 are provided between each compressor stage.
