Abstract

969,705. Anchor nuts. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Sept. 13, 1962 [Sept. 14, 1961], No. 35028/62. Heading F2H. [Also in Divisions A4 and E2] A foot for a telephone &c. comprises a body 1 of rubber or synthetic resin to which is attached by a flared end 8 a snap fastener 2 (see Division E2), with a nut portion 7 and two legs 9 for snapping into apertures in a base plate 13, Fig. 3, of the telephone &c. The portion 7 receives a screw 16 passing through the base plate 13 and a bracket 17 in the telephone &c. The downbent ends of the legs 9 are divided into a finger 11 between two fingers 10. The middle finger 11 engages the wall of a hole 5 in the body 1 while the outer fingers 10 engage the back of the base plate.
