Abstract

968,340. Overhead current collectors. ETABLISSEMENTS L. FAIVELEY. March 27, 1962, No. 11688/62. Addition to 883,083. Heading B7L. In a modification of the parent Specification for maintaining a constant pressure between a power pick-up and an overhead power supply line a means is provided for stabilizing indications on a visual indicator. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 1 the stabilization of the needle 35 of the indicator 31 is effected by a bridge circuit 72 provided between the conductors 25, 36 and having a parallel resistance 70 and condenser 71 in the outlet diagonal. In a further modification, Fig. 2, alternations are suppressed by a rectifier 60 which permits the control of a time-constant resistance-capacitance circuit 61-63, permitting the alternate charge and discharge of a condenser 62 of a ballistic galvanometer, by means of a relay 67, which, at each impulse from an emitter 68, successively opens as it closes contacts 65, 66. In a further modification a Selsyn transmitter feeds the rotor of a Selsyn repeater to which rotor the indicator is attached.
