Abstract

966,610. Conveyer systems. G. LINGG. Sept. 8, 1961, No. 32410/61. Heading B7L. In a chain conveyer in which load carriers 3 are moved along a track 2 by dogs depending from an endless chain 1 and are stopped at stations by movable stops 13, the driving and returning dogs 9, 5 are pivotally mounted on the chain 1 and have their ends spaced apart to receive a driven member 14 of the load carrier 3 running on rails 2 below the chain 1. The retaining dog 5 has a forwardly and upwardly inclined portion 6 and is pivotally mounted on levers 7 pivoted from bars 8 attached to the endless chain 1. The portion 6 on meeting the movable stop 13 lifts the dog 5 out of the path of the driven member 14 and, through a rod 10 and a cranked member 11, lifts the lever 9 out of driving engagement with the member 14.
