An aerosol valve includes a double conical plunger 3 engageable with a corresponding seating 2. A hole 5 provides communication between the dip tube 10 and the nozzle 9 of a flexible cap 1 when the plunger is unseated. A return spring may be provided. The seating 2 is of plastics material and is secured to the to the container 11, a stiffening ring 12 being provided in either of the forms shown.
