966,181. Typewriters &c. CREED & CO. Ltd. July 26, 1963, No. 29712/63. Heading B6F. In a keyboard for type-printing, e.g. teleprinter, or type-setting apparatus, the centre keys of each row 1, 2 or 3 of keys are higher than those on either side thereof and the heights of the keys decrease progressive towards the ends of the keyboard. As shown, the keys of each row on either side of the centre of the keyboard are arranged on a line which is at an angle of 15-30 degrees to the horizontal, but the keys of each row may be on an arc of a vertical circle, the arcs having a common centre which lies in a horizontal line in the central plane of the keyboard.
