964,419. Tool-holders. MUREX Ltd. Oct. 12, 1961 [Oct. 12, 1960], No. 35010/60. Heading B3B. A lathe or like tool-holder is of the type having a clamping device 2, Fig. 1, securing a separate movable chip-breaker 3 and a tool bit 4. The arrangement is characterized in that the chip-breaker is shaped to fit loosely in a dove-tailed slot 11, Fig. 2, in the clamping device and is pressed against the sides of the slot when the clamp is released by a leafspring 14.
