Abstract

902,193. Tool-holders. MUREX Ltd. Dec. 8, 1960, No. 42358/60. Class 83 (3). A cutting tip 1 for a lathe tool &c. comprises a parallelepiped having longitudinal recesses 2 in its obtuse angles and having cutting edges 4 on at least two opposed sides of an end face. The tip isclamped in a holder 10 by a wedge 16 and a screw 20, one of the recesses 2 being engaged by a projection 9. The height of the tip is adjusted by a screw 21.
