Abstract

962,393. Agricultural implements. CONNOR, SHEA & CO. PROPRIETARY Ltd. May 27, 1963 [May 30, 1962], No. 21033/63. Heading A1B. A wheeled multi-furrow plough is provided at the rear with two furrow wheels 18 arranged one behind the other on a rocker arm 22 pivoted on a hollow bracket 24 which is adjustably attached to a post 26 slidable in a boss 11. The post 26 is angularly movable in the boss 11 so that the wheels may be aligned with the furrow by means of an adjustable stay 32. The rear end of the plough frame 10 may be raised and lowered by a hand crank 44 or a hydraulic jack 46. The wheels may be tilted by pivoting the bracket 24 about a pivot bolt 28 and securing the bracket by a second bolt 30 in a suitable hole in the bracket. The invention may be applied to a disc or mouldboard plough.
